Hi Everyone....
Ooooh... I just added 5 new collectible pieces to my store. Just click on the Store icon and scroll to the bottom of the listings. I really really like these new pieces. Photos to far right above as a small sample.
I have set up two new subtitles: 'Classics' is located under Portfolio above, just click on the arrow (but you already knew that didn't you!). This selection features items that I designed years ago and they have been retired for quite some time. The Holly Brooch & Earrings as shown above are included. So... here's the story: I was visiting with my daughters this past Christmas and my daughter, Darcie, had an old jewelry box I had given her probably 35 years ago. It was sitting on a table where I was wrapping presents. I wondered what she was keeping in that old box, so I looked and found a small trove of jewelry I had gifted to her over the years. They were unworn & tarnished so I offered to restore them for her when I got home.
Here's a bit of a segue........
My grandson wants to go to Paris next year with his French class. He needs to raise money for his trip so he's started mowing lawns. His Nena (that's me) gets the idea that maybe there's a way to help his fund grow. Voila!! I have just acquired ten classic designs which now look bright, shiny & brand new. When presented with the idea of offering these pieces for sale with the idea of growing the 'travel fund', Tia Darcie immediately said 'YES'. Plus, other family members are now looking at their stash of jewelry... so more could be coming. Now you have the rest of the story! To find these pieces please follow the link to my Etsy Store in the above Contacts> Classics.
The second addition is "My House'. It's located under Blog, once again, click on the arrow. I wrote about this fabulous organization in January but felt it was a good story to keep following. It's a great organization which is dedicated to helping youth who have aged out of the foster system in Alaska, specifically in the Wasilla area. Check it out to see the beautiful renderings of the building. Want to know more... follow the link listed below. Thanks!
My website store JudieG's Trove is now open and it includes a Store which can be opened in the above banner. I have some great deals on beautiful, beads, gemstones and collectable/vintage jewelry. It's all set up to accept PayPal (no worries if you don't have an account, we can work it out!) Shipping is FREE on items over $45. Have a ? please click on Contacts in the above banner (or at the bottom of this page) and drop me a note!
Many thanks to everyone who shared, visited and purchased a piece(s) from my store, I really appreciate your support!
I'm also grateful for people who took time to write me notes. Notes that reconnect us but also tell me where we met and how much you have enjoyed your JG jewelry. It just warms m'heart. Thank You! Best, Judie

Hi Judie! I think we originally met at the University Bazaar but that was just the beginning!
Hi Judie. I’m an Alaskan and have several of your pins. I love my chickadee the most!
I just purchased your cranberry earrings and the matching necklace. Hope to get the blueberry set soon.
I haven’t looked at your new designs yet but I’m excited to see what you’re doing.
Hi Judie! I lived in Ester back in the late 70's and was friends with your daughter Darcie and loved going over to your house to see the new designs you were working on. I have always remembered the ring you designed with the mouse and cheese on it. You also designed a ring and necklace for my Mom. I have enjoyed watching over the years all the wonderful jewelry designs you have done. I'm so excited about you being involved with My House here in Wasilla. It's an amazing organization and I'm so glad to hear that you are part of it. I drive by the building on the way home and I'm so in awe of it coming together and I can't wait for it to be done to help our young adults in the valley. Take care and hopefully our paths will cross again.
