Aquamarine Beads

Purchased at the Tucson Gem & Mineral show a number of year ago, these Aquamarine beads are a large size and have a generous hole. They are a mix of color and clarity. I think of beads as having depth and movement. I find them much more interesting to work with as they add an earthy aspect to the design. The weight is great and they always seem to feel cool against the skin.

It is said that this water-like stone washes away stress and fear, leaving room for peace and tranquility. It is also the March birthstone.
