Enameled Apple Cloisonne

This is such a realistic apple, you almost feel you take a bite out of it. The colors are deep and the surface has more of a matte finish. The back is just as it came out of the kiln.   I have had this piece since 1980s. It was completed as a class demonstration by Irene Wickwire in Fairbanks Alaska. Set inside a fine silver bezel.
